An exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager has been newly created to join a global producer, marketer and provider based in Milton Keynes. The main purpose of this role is to manage the planning and analysis for this forward-thinking company who have aggressive financial growth plans.

Although this is a standalone role, there may also be an opportunity to build and develop a team within the next few years! A very exciting opportunity for the right person!

Job specification:

  • Planning personnel, material and financial resources
  • Defining and proposing control KPI’s – recognising trends, planned / current deviations
  • Supporting and assisting in the annual planning of the defined functional area.
  • Sales forecasting and reporting
  • Creating company budgets
  • Reconciliation and analysis of accounts
  • Quarterly forecast
  • Budget and mid-term planning
  • Business segment analysis and reporting
  • Customer/project profitability analysis
  • Ad hoc group reporting and analysis
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Contract review and negotiation
  • Competitor analysis
  • Profitability analysis
  • Insurance analysis
  • Pricing strategy and calculation
  • Journal posting
  • Prepaid expenses (insurance, rent) – monthly releases
  • Prepayments monthly
  • Provisions (bonus and audit) monthly
  • Payroll postings monthly
  • Pension payments postings monthly
  • Inventory
  • VAT / Duty quarterly
  • Corporation tax monthly
  • FX Run monthly
  • IC Commissions receivables monthly
  • BCS uploads monthly
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Bad debts (specific and general) annual
  • Establishing and further developing calculation and control systems


Experience required:

  • Financial and analytical experience within a global group
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience
  • Stakeholder management

Qualifications required:

  • Qualified accountant or part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)

Skills required:

  • Must have a sound knowledge of SAP
  • Proven track record in conducting analysis, planning and reporting
